We're having a photo editing contest!
Submit your G-Rated photo, edited however you like with whomever you like, to info@470arg.com or aj4ij@comcast.net.
All submissions are welcome! Use any photo editing software you have!
Photo Editing Contest
The winner will recieve a color certificate for being voted the contest winner.
We're taking submissions until October 31st. Voting begins November 1st. Voting deadline to be announced. The winner will receive a very nice certificate and will be popularly known as the best 470 photo editor around!
If you have a disability and would like to participate, email your idea to Robin at aj4ij@comcast.net and she will make it happen!
Special Events
I wanted to let everyone know that the 470 Amateur Radio Group Net
Special event call has been approved and will be listed in QST..
The special event call is W4H (Whiskey Four Hotel ).. The dates are November 1st thru November 15th, from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm, the operation frequencies will be
14.250, 7.250, 28.350, 3.850 mhz +/- 20khz per the ARRL instructions.... Those who are interested in taking part in the Special Event please contact me ASAP so that I can have the list to turn in ......

East Tennessee Skywarn
The 470 ARG are members of the EastTennessee Skywarn group and assist the National Weather Service with storm spotting and other weather realted activities. More information about Skywarn can be found here at ETSkywarn.org
