ARRL: November Sweepstakes SSB

This weekend is the phone portion of the November Sweepstakes hosted by the ARRL. Look for the bands to be busy this weekend with activity on 160, 80, 40, 20, 15, and 10.
The exchange is a bit long and I know that some aren't too keen on that, but this exchange is in homage to the days of traffic handling and therefore explains the reason. The exchange includes the following:
- A consecutive serial number
- A Precedence:
"Q" for Single Op QRP (5 Watts output or less)
"A" for Single Op Low Power (up to 150 W output)
"B" for Single Op High Power (greater than 150 W output)
"U" for Single Op Unlimited
"M" for Multi-Op
"S" for School Club
- Your Callsign
- Check
-The last 2 digits of the year of first license for either the operator or the station.
-The same Check must be used the entire contest.
- ARRL/RAC Section
So for example: My exchange would be 01 A AJ4JD 08 TN.
01 for the first contacted station, "A" is my precedence since I'm a single operator station operating at low power, My call sign, the check is 08 since I was first licensed in 2008 and my section TN for Tennessee.
If you haven't participated in the "Sweeps" before, then get on this weekend and give it a try. It's a lot of fun and a great way to make some contacts towards your WAS award. If you work all 80 ARRL/RAC sections, then you've earned yourself a clean sweep.
The contest runs from 2100 UTC Saturday, ends 0300 UTC Monday (4pm EST Saturday Nov. 21 - 10:00pm EST Sunday Nov. 22). You can only work 24 hours of the contest time.
For more information check out the rules on the ARRL website: http://www.arrl.org/contests/rules/2009/novss.html.
Use this forum area to further discuss the contest, who all plans on working it, what are your strategies, what antennas will you be using etc. Hope to work you this weekend as I plan on working the contest myself.
73 de AJ4JD,
Tim
Did anyone else work the Sweepstakes this past weekend? I did. It was a lot of fun too. 15 meters was open pretty good during the day on Saturday and Sunday. 80 meters had an unbelievably low noise floor. 20 and 40 for me were very busy with many stations that it was a bit tough to work through all the noise.
Here are my final results:
Call: AJ4JD
Class: Single Op LP
QTH: TN
Operating Time (hrs): 10
Summary:
Band QSOs
------------
160: 0
80: 100
40: 33
20: 38
15: 14
10: 0
------------
Total: 185 Sections = 62 Total Score = 22,940
If you worked the Sweepstakes SSB this past weekend, feel free to share your results here.
73 es see you next contest,
