I have made some changes to the site, the first is the Russell's Thought For The Day has been taken down. With Russell in the hospital and not able to update them I think would be prudent to temporarily remove it till he gets back on his feet.

Hi all,

I will not be around the majority of the day today because of going to a fallen fire fighter funeral. His death was not a LODD but a motorcycle accident in Texas.

This is my first so I am really interested in it in one way but I am sad because he passed away.

Anyway if you need anything fixed on the site I will not be around till this afternoon.

Hi all,

I was working on the site and had a problem. The problem was unrecoverable from so I had to do a total restore on the site.

One thing I forgot to back up was the user pictures. I am sorry but everything was backed up but I apparently not. :(

Everything else was backed up about 2 PM Wednesday (8/5/2009).

Well I think the site is about ready for release to a certain degree.

I need to get with with some people to make sure they know how to post articles up on the site but other than that I think we are ready to go live with it.

Anyone have any thoughts about anything they would like to see different?
