So I'm at work today, and being a Friday it's usually pretty slow. So this morning I was checking the messages on the Tennessee Contest Group's Google group page and found a blog address was posted by one of the members suggesting if you needed a laugh check out this blog.

Well another contest has come and gone. I've made a total of 71 contacts to 44 different countries. Check out my personal blog for more details: http://aj4jd.blogspot.com.

For your reading pleasure, I have just posted part two to our annual unplugging from society camping trip. Read our tale of wild life and good food. No we didn't eat the wild life if that's what you are thinking.
Tomorrow starts the CQ World Wide DX SSB contest. Good luck to everyone who works it. Hope to catch you on the band.
73 and God Bless de AJ4JD,

Got a new blog post on my personal ham radio blog. I've discussed our time at Gray, the upcoming CQWW contest, and even put a plug in for the Outhouse Net. Check it out at http://aj4jd.blogspot.com.

Well a couple weeks ago, as many of you already know, we took our annual unplug from society camping trip. We spent 4 days and 4 nights camping at Frozen Head State Park. We had a lot of fun and I was able to make contact with the Canary Islands on the portable HF setup we ran.

As some of you may or may not know, we went camping last week at Frozen Head State Park. If you've never been to Frozen Head then I suggest you check it out. It's up in Morgan County and is a wonderful park complete with trails, shelters for picnics, playgrounds, and RVless camping. They have a regular campground for tent of popup camper camping. Be warned though, there are no hookups.

I worked the PODXS 070 club last night. This is a yearly PSK31 contest on 80 meters and is now in memorial to Jay Hudak KA3X, the first 070 member who is now SK. For info check out my personal Ham Radio Blog at http://aj4jd.blogspot.com.

Catch you all on the 47.
